Except for Margalla Avenue pretty much all completed projects were started/approved in last govt time. Margalla Avenue too was long pending it’s never a new project.
You need an administrator like Shahbaz, expecting Development and Progress by Buzdar is like Expecting a Rooster to lay the Egg for you.
The irony is that those who blame punjab ka Sara budget Lahore main Lagaata hai. Pakistan ka budget sirf Islamabad main lagaa ker bhi kaam nahi ho Raha! Last time RRR Scam sent billions down the Drain.

نہایت افسوس ناک مقام ھے۔ جب ویتنام جیسے ملکوں نے بھی ترقی کا سفر شروع کر دیا ھے، وھاں ھم ابھی تک تنزلی کے سفر سے باھر نہیں آئے

ADB was agreed on financing (@2% markups, if I rember tyw figure correctly) with Shahbaz incharge. Once setup changed, ADB backed off, it’s purely a prvincial matter (NFC), federation will not finance and you can see CDA no lt even allowing Punjab to take over construction in ICT territory. At max, CDA will take charge of construction in it’s jurisdiction and it will fuly charge Punjab Govt for it, simple!

I am not sure, if IMF will be played arond like get thing approved by showing austerity and cuts and once done vo back to projects. Things are in proper writing from power taxes to development. There is a reason Gov Pubnjab had been vocal about the control IMF has taken.

Yes, it does cost the provincial ex-chequer to have billions down the drain and escalating costs the more it delays.

Yes, it costs end-buyers. Majority of end buyers are overseas and getting their USD/SAR/AED cashed to invest let’s say with USD @ 165/170 to invest in RRR bound societies with an anticipation that it will grow. It brings a loss when USD shot to 180 and rising and invested PKR devaluing.
I would be just a bit cautious, unless the regime puts their act together to deliver, any excited investment usually lead to disappointment and it’s unfair of an advice to investors who trust …
