I wonder what happened to the old alignment land that was acquired and billions paid but no noticeable recoveries except for some mickey mouse stuff.

Not sure, how can this work out, if old enquiry went in the deep freezer and not much noticeable amount recovered in the context of land acquisition for old alignment that is one of the biggest scam.

what will be the impact of RRR on I-14, I-15 and I-16? in old 2017 map a link road was proposed from Golra mor, I-14, I-15 to ring road, is that still in consideration?

Brother there is a time limit, after that govt will auction the previously acquired land, And there are many societies which will be interested i that land.

Positive Impavt. YEs the link road will be made. In Sha ALLAh. But priority is A bypass road first.

Through I-16 to CBR 2, one can still have easy access to RRR.

I have question about phase 8 extension, as you mentioned that phase 8 extension will get benefit of RRR. I once visit extension and my findings are below.

-Land acquired in patches, around 30-40% plots are not on ground (land not acquired and local are not willing to sale land) - what will happen to those plots which are out of acquired land.

  • Possession can take atleast 1.5-2 years, i think for acquired land only
    -Two types of files IDN and IET, dealers say that first IET files will be adjusted in available land
    -As per google earth, from the last year, no new land is acquired for extension, same land is being developed for a long time,
  • Dealers says that map could be revisited as well.

So in this situation, do you still think its wise to invest in extension whose prices go up and then fall down on a off.

Brother last time around all specilaution and stuff went down the drain. Its nothing precise until actual ground work begins. If the old/original alginmemt is to be pursued, following will benefit.

  • DHs/BT-8

  • Biggest Winner - Chakri Area and societies like Blue World, Alharam City etc.

  • Massive Jumps - Thalian Area, Girja Road societies like CBR-2, Upcountry, Taj Resdiencia. The tail of I-series (14/15/16) will have postive impacts.

Rest are all speculations and typical dealers game!

What would be the impact if old alignment is not followed?

thanks brother as per reports old/orignala alignments is to be pursued and work will start soon but i beleive time to buy is now or will miss train in couple of weeks.

it seems there is no alignemnt/junction with girja road

  1. Bahria has very huge land in 8 ext are & area beond.

  2. phase 8 ext land in patches, map in patches bcz ts hilly area and many rain drains are passing through it. so every cutting is mostly located on a height.

  3. there is a little land occupied by a population less than a village. bahria is planing to give them plots against land in 8 ext. sooner this problem will get solved and such problems arise in every society. Bahria & DHAs can resolver such matters easily.

  4. Yes in a meeting with bahria town management,They acknowledged map shall be revised as per requirement. map circulating in market and on seerab site have been abandoned 5 years ago. the updated map with precinct 7 that i have has also revised bcoz every little bit hilly area getting flat by bahria is getting addition of few street.

  5. just see the situation after 2 years. things you are watching will get changed. and you will have 3 new options fr investment in bahria after extension.

so dont be disappointed. bahria knows how to resolve the things.

@humayyun.786 bro, so far all eyes and ears on RRR next announcement. But what about its actual development. Do you think this cash-strapped govt will have the money to cough up for such expensive project, without going public-private-partnership and BOT route?

What are your reasons to believe that this is not another gimmick to fill up ATMs with public and private money and then take a comfortable U-turn. Just as they did last time right in front of our eyes.

Yeh aik masoomana sawal hey. Since you’ve “feet-on-the-ground” you are in a better position to enlighten us before everyone goes crazy and bets his/her last penny on RRR. I am not skeptic, just cautious.

Link with Girja is via Thalian Interchange. Starts at T-Chowk, Concludes at Thalian.

Its not Imran who is making roads. although he is against.

During 2019 -2020 when there was crackdown on all plots land and checking was underprocess about how you have purchased the plot give money trial and ever inch was investigated. i went behind margalla hills and noticed FWO is making double road that links Military intallations in the mountains with GT road.
DHA was gainst PM policy at that time.

I concluded sooner IK has to lift restrictions from real estate and road constructions. Either He will bow to DHA or DHA will bow to him. Finally restri tions were lift what ever the excuse my be they tell CoVID or DHA.

MA is requirement of Military &FWO

Mailr express way is the requirement of MILITARY ,FWO or DHA linking DHA 1 to DHA 9

Ring Road Lahore southern loop 3 & 4 arerequirements of DHA again.

RRR is also requirement of DHA phase 3, 9 & 10. even adiyala road is getting doubled due to jarrar camp fcilitation.

Mistake was making RRR a Public private partnership project. Although it was as usual FWO project.

which ever govt stays or goes, these projects have to get completed & will be completed sooner.

All industrial estates parks stadiums even 18 km distance have disappear from the plan. secondly all villages and societies are tried to get avoided. mountains are passes from the locations where cutting is not tge big problem. ths reducing the cost in great means.

This is why i strongly beleive RRR wll be completed sooner irrespect of who is giverning.

The Irony of governance will be that, the alignment that was proposed in Shahbaz time was discarded for the new one. Made a mess out of the new one with not a single one in cabinet being held accountable, despite explicit names in the report and now again the same old alignment from Shahbaz time is adopted as it suits best!

Please, don’t interpret that in a political context only, it about the gross mismanagement and pure corruption that had messed up a fate turning sort project for RWP. Imran is not making roads but dead silence in RRR Scam report and moving on doesn’t serve the purpose to what he promised!

For a Fact Check, Imran was only against Roads and Mass Transits till he was on the container. On the seat he is all ok to attibribute these to national development!
