In 2017-18 a small piece of loose concrete due to formwork defect had fallen down from the overhead bridge constructed at Phase-3 chowk Hayatabad by FWO during immi's era..... Geo Tv and one of the forum member said " The overhead bridge constructed by PTI had failed"......
Same happened during the final punch list of BRT, smaller construction defects in some of the rounds off were so much exaggerated........

Golden rule, when ever a project become controversial & politicized , specially in Pakistan , then its very very difficult to execute it for a longer period of time. I am afraid it wouldn't become another " DHA Valley ". Forget RRR atleast in current govt.
If a govt like PMLN ( Pro infra structure development party) couldn't execute it, then how we can expect it from current " NOTICES Govt "??
I think RRR was started in smooth and transparent earlier, Now the real "WARDAAT" is going on in the name of so called investigation.
RRR was never on a Priority-1 for PML during 2013-2018.
Priority-1 mega projects to maximize political leverage were:
Road/Transportation
- RWP-ISB Metro
- Metro-ext to New Airport
Health
- Inst. of Cardiology
- Inst. of Urology
It was somewhere in mid to end 2017 when SS started to reiterate RRR more proactively, gearing up for next tenure (2018 onwards) ...
What is next?
Which alignment was changed?
What will happen to procured land?
Traffic issue to remain unsolved.
Seems project in doldrums.
All the mess and noise and head rolls so that RRR falls into same lap (sooner or later) where MA went.
Save the post gents for revisit later ...

Ok so they have fired few DCs over the charge that they changed the layout which would have cost 25 billion rs loss.
I can’t believe that officers of DC level have that kind of power to change the layout.
It’s unfortunate that such an important project is getting controversial again and again.

FWO story is not going to sell now. All the so called Gurus keep absolving themselves of any responsibility for this scandal. We can clearly see from their previous posts how they were selling the dubious housing societies around the erstwhile RRR.
