Respectfully 'disagreed' Junaid bhai - regarding thumbs-up, thumbs-down, in an era of social media (SM) based communications speaking in general.
We all know, half-nude stuff on SM will get millions of likes and shared in no time to reach to millions, whereas genuine stuff may get bullied and bigoted. We all know, many of us hiding behind keyboards and screens may not be fair most of the times. Example: in our neighbor country, a video of lynched mob beating an innocent will most of the times gets millions of likes in seconds! - that exactly is the tragedy.
Also, neutrality may not lead to popularity. Same person keep logging in from new devices to get the green or red thumbs pressed. Just sometimes, try to give a neutral view on some project or asked questions, the ones who disagree will most probably reflect their frustration, without rational by hitting the 'Red Thumb'.
Having said that mutual respect and words do matter regardless of thumb up or thumb down!
