My farther in law gifted a banglow and a plot to my husband. After father in law’s death is this property countable in property distribution in his all children
No gift is gift and nobody else can claim in it. But there is a limit to gifting I think…
May ALLAH bless the deceased with jannah,,all my judgement is based on my personal thinking[ no offence intended] , I wonder how can a father make such a huge discrepancies in gifting something ,that is not a gift but ,something like reward for some one or punishment to others,. Bcz how can he forget the other children while gifting such a big solid cash oriented assets to one and neglecting others,,except that the deceased was a super rich ,and few crores were not noticeable in his routines by his children , which does not seems the case here, as greed and selfishness is very prominent on both sides[imagined from the type of query in the question]
MY personal analysis is that yes everything left from father inheritance is attributable to all legal heirs, after deduction of the deceased debt, and limited mentioned donations,
HOWEVER consult some religious ALIM or mufti for clear Islamic laws regarding this issue.
