After the stagnant prices for the last few months in some sectors like G 13, we are observing a slight rise of price. As I have a plot there and just after one month I m getting some good offers… What is the reason behind it? … Again a price hike to b observed … And is there the same situation in G-14 or Zone 2?

Yes Mr Saadi! i needed some money to invest some where else, and i decided to sell plot in G 13. But my dealer said that we should wait at least one more month to get good return. What u experts say? Should i wait or sell it?

@abdul hafeez sb…obviously g-13 and g-14/4 always see the same increase in their worth…lot holders in g-13 and g-14 should wait for couple of months…Its my gut feeling that plots in g-13 and g-14/4 will shoot rapidly…

Specially with Kashmir highway shaping up, it will change the outlook of G13 and make it more attractive to the genuine buyers for living. This will give it a sustainable increase.
The investors are also holding up their cards to play when the time is right. Therefore, I would not sell a plot unless absolutely necessary,
Yes, I agree that KH widening up will have a good impact on G series.
That was due to happen, Kashmir Highway Section 3 Approval has to impact G-13, and prices will increase for sure.
@Tanya. Price rise in property has been going on throughout this year, although its been travelling in waves and different areas have been taking turns. I agree that KH is surely going to have a positive impact on prices.
Prices in G-14/1-2-3 have decreased a bit in last few months I think. Would it be advisable to buy a plot in G-14/1-2-3? or the expected increase is in only developed area?
I believe the decrease has happened because there was a strong rumour in the market earlier, regarding start of full fledged development in G-14/2 and 3 which has not taken shape the way people were expecting. However if prices increase in developed areas, there will be some knockover effect in non-possession areas as well, although not by as much. However, I usually don’t favor buying plots in areas under adverse possession, even though prices in such areas can reach unbelievable levels, but the risk is just too high.
Thank you Syed Amjad sb for your advice. I was making mind for an investment in G-14/1 as its location is very good. Yes I agree it has risk involved but may be not higher than the risk involved in an investment in E-12. Because of the court order in last week, development in G-14 may proceed.
In BE prices have already gone too high. Or may be wait for them to come down and then an investment there:)
G-13 prices will increase at least a jump of Rs.500000 is expected for all sized plots in G-13 and G-14/4, prices were stagnant from last 1 year. Kashmir Highway Section 3 approval will play a important role in it, plus CDA will start building roads and parks, and will install street lights which will increase prices in these two sectors.
Prices in G-13 to G-15 and F-15 climbed by more than 50% last year I mean in 2012 to early,2013. Now they are stable for some time but B-17 got a massive boost while g-13 to f-15 were dormant. Now B-17 will remain stable and G-13 to F-15 and E-16/17 to D-17/18 will see the next big boom early to mid next year 2014. This is what seems to me is happening in this side of Islamabad. I saw only 2-3 dozzers are working on widening KH project. It will take a minimum 1-2 years to complete this project. What will happen in 2 months time i dont expect any thing. The government is busy in local body election which will take another 2 months to be complete in KPK and Punjab. So i dont see any change in next 2 months time.
