PAF Tarnol Housing Scheme For Living

PAF Tarnol is the only housing scheme in Zone 2 around motorway which is fully developed, has direct access to motorway and is also very close to Motorway-Kashmir Highway link road. Few houses are also already constructed there. Price is reasonable also, around 25 lac for 10 Marla plot.

Please share your opinion about the status of living facilities there, gas, electricity,water, phone, security. Is it in the condition that one can start living there.

Sorry but I have to disagree. Multi F-17 is the only society which is fully developed with amenities. You can visit and see the quality of development and pace at which houses and plazas are being built.

Dear muhammad paf tarnol is a very old housing scheme with possession but no major population there reason is its location, agree with ali as compared to paf tarnol multi f 17 is a far better option development wise population wise and facilities too

But if we talk about access, for F-17 you have to travel on fateh jang road for 4 KMs which is not a good road.

For PAF, you have option of travelling on motorway and then kashmir highway, which is a far better access.

Doesnt that give advantage to PAF over F-17.

Please also share about status of gas, water, security in PAF and F-17.

Approach is one drawback but tarnol flyover will overcome this. F-17 has been a success as most buyers are genuine and quality and multi brand has helped overcome current approach issue. Have you visited the society? It’s worth a few kms drive on fateh Jung Rd!

Toll road (motorway) is not free. Who ever uses motorway to travel from AWT, PAF tarnol, Wapda etc etc to Kashmir Highway then Islamabad, it will cost around Rs 80-100 per day (including both directions). Yes, if people are willing to do this, no problem. So put on side approximately Rs 3000 for tolls only.

If the place has all facilities and security, i think paying 2500 Rs/ month extra is not a big cost for it, also owing to the fact that land prices are low there.

I am just asking what is coming in my mind, to have expert opinions about it. It is only my personal estimates, which i want to clarify by people who r well versed with these properties and areas.

Dear Muhammad, Prices in PAF are low because investors have not turned their guns. Look at Faisal Town, there is nothing on the ground and people are asking 47 lakh for one Kanal plot already. While in PAF last when I knew, you can get a good location plot at this price.

Tool is 25 Rs each side for Islamabad. But the comfort of driving should also not be ignored. It is a lot easier to travel through motorway than GT road.

Development is too slow in Fazaia. Not recommended to savvy investors. Look at multi f17 for on ground ready plots. For files I suggest faisal town

For multi F17 the issue is of access. You have to travel 4KM on fateh jang road to reach GT rd which is not a comfortable drive.

PAF have closed off access from A & B blocks which are right next to the motorway interchange. The entrance currently in use is next to E block which requires about 2 km of further driving on the Fateh Jang road after exiting from motorway, so access wise, it has no major advantage over multi F-17 which has a superior development standard. So multi is drawing bulk of the investment.

Are there any future plans for making faten jang road 1 way, or expanding it.

I heard ground water is not enough for water supply.PAF is providing tankers for water supply.I think this is a big disadvantage for living.

Development standards are not good as well. In 2009 it was more expensive than F 17 but now F 17 is more expensive because of development standards

If water is an issue and tankers are required, than definitely its a disadvantage.

If i want to live in F-17 with family/ children, is it safe to travel in nights to/from F-17.

I have visited the society on several occasions. In my opinion approach is as safe as going to e-11 from f-10

It is similar to commuting to e-11 from f-10

What is the current rate for 30x60 plots in F-17 Telegarden? Are all facilities intact including gas? Im assuming water is by boring?

I want to know about the security level of the area of F17 and is this one of the CDA sectors or not ? What about the gas water and electricity is this ready to start living with kids whose school will be beaconhouse in sector H ,daily traveling is easy? As my budget is around 25 to 35 for 10 marla so Paf is better option or F17 ! Or any other place in this budget near to school and ready to build. Pls share your opinions.
