Ownership of property

Hello this is me adnan i want to know what is the best way to check the ownership of property and there in no legal case or any proceedings are going on over this property…??

My understanding is that there is no particular office that takes care of that. Checking the title or registry documentation, ensuring there are no liens or other stakeholders on that property is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Having said that, your property agent should be in a position to help you out here through his contacts. If you are buying directly from the developer, then the chances of any such challenges would be fairly reduced.

If I am not exaggerating, most of the plots in Pindi will have some kind of issue this way or that way!

One of my friends, say “ nothing is clear in Pindi plots, out side the privately developed townships”!

You buy a plot toady in RDA, tomorrow you will come to know, there is a road widening project came/ court stay/ double registry/ Registry is there but no Intiqaal/Aap ke parosi nain katta bandh diya aapke plot main/Your are outside the country and your plot is already built by someone else who is also having a legal document/Yes, you have possession but your actual khasra number is down the nala?

Invest in BTs/DHAs and other societies which are at least clean in papers/possessions.

You have a valid point Qayum Sb. It is better to invest in those developments which are market by big names, as they will take care of these problems at their level, and as a investor or buyer, you do not have to deal with it.
