How many houses built or under construction?

construction activity is on the swing here, aprox. 25 houses started this year which comes to a total of around 70 plus houses now and around for around 150 more plots owners have applied possession to start construction this year so they might be starting anytime sooner or later.....

Construction activity is picking up at a pretty decent pace in CDECHS this year, however it is slow at the moment during moon soon. It will further get momentum once provision of electricity is made at normal rates.

People are now finally constructing their houses here. This usually has a knock on effect.

I think legal issues has been resolved. Gate is near completion but at snail pace.

It seems that society mgnt is relying on fortune of overall property market and isn't doing anything substantial for the well being of its own infrastructure.
I bought kanal plot in E 16/2 in April 2014 and since then I haven't witnessed any price hike. I bought in 4.2 million which is having almost same market after 1.5 years.
Gate is still incomplete, street lights are absent, no electrification, no boundary wall.
Seniors, please suggest weather I should quit and invest somewhere else or I should wait for better time ?
Society Management seems non serious about development and provision of basic utilities.
So why don’t the members elect a different management???
Because there were election last time, corrupt management made a settlement to protect self interest!
Many of us are unaware of electoral process and I suppose its' schedule is not publicized either. Quiet a few, here, are updated while rest are laymen lacking basic knowledge and are not on par with the informed ones like you Perdesi Sb. Moreover, the same is never a point of interest among forum members. For instance, I never saw any post related to Society Elections being discussed.
Another factor that adds to the irony is most of the investors are overseas who can't always participate per the given Election Schedule. This allows same corrupt management, with the influence of dirty people, to continue taking salaries keeping project in limbo state.
A solution to this can be proper advertisement of elections at least on the social media. We should make use of the tools which are in our hand. Take Zameen forum, for instance, where we can make separate tabs for Society elections & dates can be published so that all concerned can mark the same on their calendar.
That’s the thing. Incumbent managements have usually got a stranglehold over society election processes. Very difficult to unseat them without involvement of members on fulltime basis.
