I have a corner plot in a housing society in islamabad. Bought about 10 years ago and being overseas could not visit regularly. Six months ago, i applied for possession and came to know the area given to us in possession letter is much smaller than the allotted area in the allotment letter. We have put too much pressure on the society but all in vain. The society wants to pay but in 15 years old rates which is very disappointing.
Would a police fir for fraud and a legal battle in court do me any good? If yes, could someone let me know a lawyer who can fight the case.

Although you may file a case against them but it may take much time and further waste of money.If the society is approved with CDA you may contact CDA for further proceedings.
