Laying of underground electricity network in Naval Anchorage Extension blocks has started. They had offered possession in extension blocks late last year but without electrification.
However to their credit, they did announce that they will install the underground system by end of june 2016. Looking at the speed of work it looks like they will meet the deadline.
@Kashif Sheikh. Do you have any idea about prices and facilities in this new blocks and also do you think this work will cause any improvement in price?
@Naveed. According to my info the price range in extension blocks is about 55 lakhs-80 lakhs for 1 kanal plots. Gas and water supply was already connected when they offered possession. Now they are connecting electricity. Whether prices will rise as a result of this, I can’t say. There are just too many factors involved. If construction picks up in extn then definitely yes.
