He advice me not to buy any property in dha 9 lahore because it is too far from the city right next to the border side.
Therefore, not good investment. I don't want to prove him wrong but need advice on it as a 2-3 years investment.

Its long term investment … My guess 5 years minimum.
Its a good, secure but long term investment (5-6 Years).
If you think city center is Mall road or Secretariat, then Yes, its far away. Actually, Everybody has its own definition of city center as per its requirement & routine movement. Many people prefer to live outside of the city.
