Moving to Pakistan advice

Planning to move back to Pakistan in a couple of years; would like advice on buying a residential property. The main requirements are

  1. Islamabad / Rawalpindi

  2. Good medical college nearby

  3. Opportunity for opening a general practice doctor's clinic in the area

  4. Budget around 30 million

  5. 4 to 5 bedroom house

Will appreciate the input

Gulberg (A lot of constructions going on). Could be excellent choice after 2 years when under developed commercials in D Markaz start functioning.

Evergreen CDA sectors may be preferred according to your budget. 6 marla house with 3-4 bedrooms in sectors G-8 to G-11 perfectly suffice your requirements from serial 1 to 5.

It depends on the living standard of your family and your preferences.

Societies which are good are as fallows:

  1. Bahria Town phase I to 6 (Avoid phase 8 for personal living due to overall security reasons)

  2. Dha 1 and dha 2

  3. Media,Town

  4. PWD

  5. Khayaban e sirsyed / I-8 and I-10 (30x70)

Pwd, khayaban, I sectors suits in case you want to prefer crowded places with all living amenities at your doorstep.

What are your views about Zaraj Housing opposite DHA 2, As I’m looking for a quieter place to settle down rather than a central one. It has lower prices than DHA 2 but right opposite to it and in hind site I might be able to build even a one Kanal house with 50 to 60 % construction.

Bilal, I will recommend that you opt for DHA. The main reason, is security and secondly, even if you are outside country, no one can come and take a Qabza of it.

You can get different options w.r.t price. At this stage, i will recommend that go for DHA5. You can get a plot of a kanal with 15m and then invest 15m on its construction.

Aftab Sb has given a very valid advise.Go for a kanal in dha 5 for a good plot in 150 and spend rest of the amount on construction.

I would suugest If u have limited budget around 30m then invest in business and rent a house from ur earning.

Or

Spent 30 percent to buy a lot ( 2 to 5 year investment plot) and 70 percent spent in business then from ur biz earning u construct house along side
