I want to ask and discuss the scenario that can become a trend in market regarding the rates in the market after the implementation of the new taxes on property.
1) either the price/value of property will increase or decrease?
2) what will be the cause for such change?
Of course market will come down … If government does not take taxes back.
It will definitely have negative effect on the overall market in the first 6 to 12 months. However, afterwards the market will adjust itself with the new taxes. The unimaginative increase in the prices may stop especially in the high end properties costing in 100s of lacs.
The smaller values properties will not be affected that much in my view.
Things will take time to settle down if the new taxes continued to apply as such.
