Salamualeikum,
I always wanted to have a second home in islamabad city and now that i have the opportunity to take the step, i've just been visiting islamabad city looking some areas and i realized that f zones and i8 which are pretty nice places for living are very expensive.
Just went through pwd road a couple of days ago, and it seems a very developed avenua and big residential areas around. And the prices are lower than f and related zones.
What do you think? Is it a good place to purchase an already built-house or do you have other recomendations?
If you are OK with the location of PWD (being bit away from main islamabad), than its better to go one kilometer further and buy house in Bahria Town Rawalpindi.
Thank Ikram for the reply. I have not visited Bharia Town. Is it really worth?
What about the quality of the houses?
Dear Asim,
Bhai app ko Europe sa aa kar Pakistan ma rana hi ha to aapko Dha ior Bahria ka visit karna chia.
Regards
PWD is good for business but bad option for living.

Ok Nadeem bhai. Zaroor karoonga. I just try to avoid these type of residential complex, because in Europe I have seen a lot of similar projects which starts with very high interest from investors due to a huge marketing from the developers, but then the project are never finished and the money of the investors has just been wasted...
And local people do not live in these residentials zone, mostly they are overseas Pakistanis if I'm not wrong. I feel more comfortable living with local neighbours rather than overseas, even I'm an oversea Pakistani. :-)
Please do not get me wrong. It is just my personal criteria. But for sure, before saying no, I am obliged as you say to visit BT and DHA.
