The second ballot for Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City is to be held on February 14 (Friday) to allocate plot numbers against the distributed files. The event will take place at the LDA Sports Complex in Johar Town.
The authority has engaged the services of PITB (Punjab Information Technology Board) to hold a computerized and transparent ballot. A previous ballot of this series was held on November 30, 2019, to allocate plot numbers against 9,712 plot files.
The third ballot for the project is slated for April, 2020. The file holders can log onto LDA’s official website to review the results of the first ballot.
Moreover, the recent LDA Governing Body meeting has also given its approval to the collection of developmental charges from the plot owners at the discounted rates communicated by the authority last year.
The owners of 1-kanal plots will only have to pay half the amount of the development cost of PKR 2.3 million per kanal and same goes for the development costs of plots of all sizes.
