LDA Avenue 1 After Possession

Salam,

I would like to ask the expert and respected member of the forum that:

How do they see LDA Avenue 1 after the announcement of possession.

1. Living wise

2. Investment wise

Also now after possession, how long it will take to get well populated.

Location wise is it better than the Bahria Town, Sukh Cheyn, DHA EME and others or not?

Scheme is very good but lacks provision of suitable infrastructure by PTCL and TV cable provision. I foresee a visual pollution there. The scheme has good infrastructure of sewage elelectricity etc. I like the fact it has minimum 40ft roads and plot sizes of 10 and 20 marlas only.

Good scheme and good location. Good deal at current prices. But LDA schemes are not known for posh standard of living. May be this will turn out to be different. It is better than previous LDA schemes.

Location wise it is very good but unfortunately LDA is so much notorious for innocent investors. Clever people having connections inside LDA office are the main beneficiary as usual.

Fully agreed with Irfan… Location is excellent… But simple straight forward person is generally reluctant to invest there… One reason of DHA’s historical success over LDA schemes is the plain and corruption free customer care in real estate.

Thanks for your thoughts on this but dont you guys feel that now a days the lda is not as corrupt as it was before 10 years. There are much more checks involved while buying or selling the property with lda.

Or do you guys feel that even in lda avenue 1 there will be discrepancies with allotments?

Everything is slow with LDA.

LDA schemes are not good for the investment point.

For own living it is better than most private

housing societies. For example amenities are provided in

LDA schemes and street/roads are considerably wide.

In the surrounding area housing schemes don't have sewage system but LDA has very good one.

The sources told that LDA avenue 1 will top among the several LDA housing schemes.

No doubt location wise LDA Avenue 1 s very good. But i dont know why the society is slow? Have they allotted possession there? I have heard that even after making an announcement of proposed possession, they are delaying the allotment of possession.

Please shed some light on possession in LDA Avenue 1.

Government departments/organizations are always slow.

Islamabad G13 possession was given after 18 years.

The management announced to give possession in LDA Avenue without making necessary SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). So now they may be in process of making SOP.

Suspect the owners of surrounding societies also have influence to slow down it.

Does anyone know how much does it cost to transfer the ownership of 10marla in lda avenue 1???

recently LDA announced that it will start granting possession to the allottees from 31 march 2014. However, i am unsure about the current status of possession.

But in my view, the society has a growth potential becasue it savours veru good location among other localities and secondly its road infrastructure is very good.
