Jammu Kashmir society is becoming increasingly commercialised - even residential plots are being used for commercial purposes like schools etc.
Is it a good idea to do business in a house in that society?

Almost in all CDA sectors private homes are in use of NGO schools even private hospitals.
Legally its now allowed but still people are doing.
In societies this is being permitted by the management. For example, in Lahore during the 70s Gulberg and model town were the most posh area. Now these are totally commercial. So people have moved to societies. In Lahore most societies like Eden and DHA you can do Commercialisation only in commercial areas. It takes many many years before someone can commercialize residential units, but in JKCHS it is already getting commercial.
