Islamabad versus lahore

Salam

If i have the choice to buy one kanal house ( livable) in islamabad s renowned sectors versus equal value of plots somewhere in lahore ., which investment will benefit me after ten years.?

Takht-e-lahore ka sooraj doob raha hai. I recommend Islamabad.

Islamabad is the call as far as i can think.Lahore is getting very expenaive,i would say not worth the amount.

Demand is the thing which cause increase in prices. Demand is much higher in Lahore and is forecasted to grow in future. Also development in Lahore is much better. Islamabad/Rawalpindi don’t even have a ring road while Lahore is getting SL3 in some time. This makes Rawalpindi/Islamabad a better place to invest but at the cost of some risks. You have to have good knowledge and reasons to analyze…

Rule is buy low and sell high. In this context Islamabad is a buy and Lahore is sell.

Cant find that earlier LDA DG thread, so thought to post here:

Two fined and jailed over fake housing scheme

I think at the moment for investment purpose zone-2 Islamabad is better option than Lahore.

Regards

Naeem,

Only black money causes prices to increase. In Pakistan regular demand is always there. Lahore market accumulated too much black money in last 5 years and I think Lahore will fall faster due to accountability.

And do you all think Islamabad is not expensive.?

Islamabad is overpriced , if I intend to sell my house they say it’s worth 7 to 7.5 Crores and if someone genuinely shows a desire to buy that similar house , he’s told it’s between 8.5 to 9.

Great deal of hypocrisy !

Initially Islamabad was only expanding in south direction, that is along the Islamabad expressway,

but since the work on new airport has started and now the announcement, all of new societies are mushrooming in the west side,

so if you have limited investment and time to wait, then invest on some west side societies where you can reap initial profit as well as some future profits,
