I was checking G-15 on Google Earth and it seems like it is not directly connected to Kashmir Highway which leads straight into main Islamabad. Is the only connection to Islamabad via GT Road or will there be any roads extended from G-15 to Kashmir Highway?
The road between G-15 and G-16 will be connected to Kashmir Highway which will provide direct one-way access to residents of G-15 and G-16 for going to Islamabad. This access has been approved.

G-15 has the best location in Zone 2 so it is good for both living and investment. G-16 is v good too but buy only in possession area.
Development standards are okay in both these sectors with underground electricity.
I see, so it is definitely better than B17? I might sell a plot in B17E and get a small plot in G-15 or G-16.
What are the rates of possession plots in G-15 and G-16? (Smallest Plots) and I know that G-15 is being developed by JKCHS but who is developing G-16?

Smallest plot in g 15 is 50 plus it is 7 Marla and developer is intercity of Shuja Keyani it is also developing g 16 but g 16 have possession issues in 1 and 2 large village.
For construction G 15 is way better than 16 as lot of population and markaz is also developed .
Thanks for your advice Rashid bhai. Actually my budget is a bit tight so I might have to go for G-16 if the prices are much lower than G-15.
I think G-16/4 has clear possession plots, any idea about the rates of 30x60 possession plots (which I assume are the smallest ones in G-16)?
You can get it around 40 it’s approximate price check with some dealers.

You should check for possession plots in the following:
G-15 (JKCHS)
F-15 (JKCHS)
G-16 (Interior Ministry Housing Society)
Location wise F-15 and G-15 are the best outside Zone-1. Development standard cannot compete with Multi, Bahria and DHA. But a bit better than Zone-1 sectors which are in the development stages.

Btw I have a silly question but would be good to know about it. Does anyone know why JKCHS layout seems a bit tilted? I mean the streets and direction of houses are not aligned with the other sectors of Islamabad (mainly Zone I).
In F-15/1 the possession plots are CDA NOC-clear. So F-15/1 possession area is ok for investment.
Yes street lines are angular as compared to Zone 1 sectors but this is also the case in some of the Zone 1 sectors such as F-11. I think this is due to technical difficulties of topography and terrain.
In Zone 2, E-17/3 (Cabinet) streets have perfect alignment.

I have plot in G-16 and will advise you to think before jumping from B-17 to G-15 or G-16.
B-17 is much better as for as infrastructure and development quality is concerned.
I don't see any grounds/parks etc at least in G-16.
About link road, it is a lollipop being sold for years.
30 * 60 possession plot in G-16/4 is between 80 to 95.
If you want to move from B-17 then currently top city is much better option and you will get 35 * 65 plot in 60s. Top city has interchange on Kashmir highway.
Only one negative point, yes it is around 7 odd kilometer farther than G-15, G-16
