I am interested in buying a two bed flat probabaly in bhurban, any ideas on murree investment? Is that a wise thing to do or i should rather stick to buying in islamabad/rawalpindi only
GOOD thread if i add to it,gurus please comment on this unique area,its tourist resat and also for mental relaxation and peaceful feelings in vacation .please say something on fraud free property buying plus rates as well
Everyone has different circumstances. I think its not wise.
Maintaining it is difficult. Instead of investing, why not one take flat/portions/guesthouse room on rent and enjoy time instead of sorting out problems and supplies of one's own flat or small house.
Than many murree natives, having better houses give portion/two rooms on rent in season.
We need water supply, heating, regular cleaning, internet, laundry, servant help usually for our time spending enjoyably.
Murree/burban prices do not appreciate much as far as I know.
Good location places are expensive while we can enjoy good places on rent.
My limited view. Everyone has different circumstances.

The maintenance and minor details would let the ROI if it be calculated in terms of Annual Rent to a very thin level.
So its better to rent instead of going to own such luxury with hassle of too many details.
Yes if someone has millions spare that could be a different scenario !
I forgot security in the essentials.
I had plot in Bhurban. But when I went after a few years and saw a lot of problems faced by nature loving people, I quickly changed my idea. Appreciation was also negligible.
