Investment Options

I am planning to invest 2.5 million for 3 to 5 years for safe investment because I am an oversees Pakistani. I need advice from experts for following:

1) City: Lahore or Islamabad?
2) What are possible investment options?

Difficult to find a decent location in Lahore with this budget.

I recommend 35x70 or 40x80 plot in E-17/3 Islamabad. You can also consider AWT and Wapda Town but E-17/3 is better because of high development standard (Habib Rafiq + underground electricity) and it is inside ICT with direct access on GT Road adjacent to future Tarnol flyover.

In addition, i seen one advertisement in Express newspaper against management of this society due to bad management.

It is a CDA sector which is developed and managed by a private society formed by govt employees working in Cabinet Division Secretariat.

The society is safe if you buy a possession plot. But if you buy a non-possession plot then you will face the consequences of the management's laziness. The management will change after elections inshaAllah.

In any case, most developers in Pakistan complete projects with delay. For example DHA Valley in Islamabad is still not complete after a decade. Yes it is DHA's fault but that does not mean all of DHA is bad. If you buy possession plot, then you are perfectly safe inshaAllah.

By giving your reference to Muhammad Ahsan, I have bought a plot (5090) there on MBRd, and it was good experience with AHSAN.He deals like educated man, not like over smart dealer.If any brother want to deal just limit yourself to him.There are other co-workers as well at his office.

Right now people demanding 48 to 55lacs on west MBRd and its difficult to find a plot on West MBRd to buy.

I would suggest one 30x60 plot on map in Multi Residencia for around 17 lacs and one DHA Valley 5 Marla Plot.

Another option could be one 30x60 plot in E-Block of B-17.
