I-15 is a very long term and i personally dont expect much return in 3-4 years even.
You better sell and buy in developing society.

You can consider DHA Valley which is bit risky… You can get 8 marla upto 1.6m… Try to invest only in Blue Bell, Oleander and Lilly… In Sha Allah this can give you good return in 2-4 years…

Mine is more a question than advice and I want the experts to comment please, how will be 1-kanal in AWT D-18? It will probably be 25-30 lacs which might not be his budget, but not too far and what would u advise if he could afford it?
Its out of his range and a bit long term investment…
Dont go for valley gulberg is at least better
@Matrix … Do u mean to say that AWT D-18 is long-term investment? I heard possession is in-hand or soon and that the development is at an advanced stage plus army is behind the project, so the backing is strong and reliable. Or is this all a myth and disinformation? All experts please comment, this project needs some impartial reviews from the experts. Thanks

Better hold your plot in I-15 for 3-4 years. Currently you can not get any good return anywhere in Islamabad with your budget.

If you add 2 or 3 lac after sale your plot. You can get 30 X 60 in E-16.
Its value will appreciate after completion of new airport.
Any comment on my question (re: AWT, D-18) ???
This is making me think too as some allege that most folks here are dealers and only willing to promote where they have a vested interest, I have personally never believed it though.
@ Musafir AWT is backed by army and development s underway since long. But one and only thing negative is its location and access. Motor way interchange is still not operational rather abandoned.I suggest to quit AWT and invest in a developing scheme like DHA gulberg.

how is the development standard and possession status inside the actual AWT itself?
@AppCake. Even though like you I am also an investor in Gulberg myself but I think if we misguide people we will be inviting Allah's wrath. The information you have shared about AWT is incorrect.
@Musafar. AWT development was completed and possession was given to all plots in 2003. Currently they have started an infrastructure upgrade program to modernize the scheme but immediate possession is available for all plots for construction. All utilities including gas, electricity & central water supply is available. The motorway interchange is not abandoned. Its almost 80% complete and is being held up due to some last minute whims of NHA at the behest of some politicians. Its opening is imminent but date not final.
If I-15 got developed, as news are circulating that CDA has approved development plan for this sector, this plot will give you good return and best for living as well inshaAllah. Now lets see the risks that may be estimated now is 'it should not fall into "khadda" as common in this I series sector'. This will limit the net gain considerably.
So first go to I-15 site and check plot location and estimate is it in level area or not. Google map may also help if you compare it with I-14 and I-16 coordinates.
Then you may switch timely to DHA valley, Gulberg, Multi etc.
