Cow dung makes mud strong when mixed with sand and clay. Although this same concept is also used in many rural areas of Punjab and Interior Sindh. It has proven as low cost and appropriate for single story houses. Also it has been recorded that such houses have better atmosphere in hot weather as compared to concrete houses.
