What do you think what will be the impact of US dollar depreciation against Pak rupee. On DHA, Lahore real estate prices.

Property in DHA also crashes with dollar depreciation because the construction cost also go down. All import cost will go down. Moreover, oversea investors will not invest in property. Current oversea investors also stuck. All factors will surely crash real state business prices.
Ready to construct plots do not depreciate…
When there is no buyer or investor plots also depreciate very much. Everything in Pakistan is related with US dollar. Till June market will completely dead. After June prices of property will remain at its lowest rate and then after September we will see little rise. But market will not going to gain in this year. Sellers should sell now what ever price they get and buyers should buy in June/july the lowest price of property.

Sir there are full time investors whose bread and butter are related with the real estate business and they are very large in number so they keep selling buying whole year and limited number of customers are always present in the market,so there is no need to throw precious properties for peanuts and ready to construct plots never lose their value very much…Only 2 to 4% max depreciation can be expected on authentic properties if things move towards such situation at which you are pointing…Rates depends upon construction activity in certain area and if construction activity is going good then no appreciation can be expected…

Dollar is related without any doubt.
Real Estate will not drop in developed areas/ready possession areas, but yes, files where ever they are, prices will drop.
Dollar today is on 100, will come down more further.
Genuine demand will remain but people will have many choices and they will buy on their own rate, activity will not stop.
Nasir bhai… Files which are to be converted into possession plots soon will also suffer? How much do you think they can go down? And dont you think its a good time to get files whose possession is near?
PRICES ARE GOING DOWN AT THE MOMENT IN DHA LAHORE. SALE AND PURCHASE IS ALREADY SLOW. IF DOLLAR WILL NOT GAIN AGAINST RUPEE, PRICES OF PROPERTY WILL DIP MORE.
With great respect to all members, the selling and buying of property is not slow due to Dollars. There will be no price reduction of material and petroleum products in comparison with dollars, therefore, it will have no affect on the prices. The problem of all businesses is the current situation of the country and if this government will succeed to make an agreement with Taliban then all businesses will start moving up.
Dollar will stay on this level + or - 10% for the next two months until the reserves will decrease.
