This is not attack on the poster (person), and can be challenged on facts. It shouldn’t offend anyone. Problem starts when someone starts hurling abuses to the individual who has posted it.

For example, someone can denounce a specific “thought”, “culture”, “philosophy”, or political inclination. Can tease, taunt or trash, but as long as you are not referring to a specific member of the forum, this is acceptable and should be taken gracefully. For example, the phrase “all those who follow bhagora are goons”, is okay. But, if someone says, “Mr. X is a goon because he favours bhagora”, is not okay.

Similarly, when I say, “Nalaiq Niazi is the puppet of the highest order”. This is NOT a personal attack on anyone on this forum.

Difference of opinion can be handled gracefully. It doesn’t stop us from condemning, denouncing and criticizing the public figures we do not like. These public figures (be it Niazi, Sharifs, Fazal or estab.) are not our chachay mamay. So no need to get emotional when someone attacks them. If they were so sacred (muqaddas), they should have not come in politics !

This is the basic norm of discussion.

Dear Guy, let me be explicit and direct if being indirect is way too polite to convey the message:

  • Its you quoting direct name, even on the post above now for Nth time. I have never taken any direct name, quoted any post, or responded directly to any of your post! Right!

  • I under no obligation find myself entitled to justify to anybody, let alone some random profiles on social forums that abuse to the level of family and then deploy the victim card.

  • Speak for yourself, let the readers speak for themselves. If someone trolls and takes the responses back as Nerve Wrecking, unfortunately, Imtiaz or for that sake any human cant do, and have nothing to do with that!

An online forum is like playing gentlemen’s cricket.

You can hit hard, throw boundaries, bowl fast, deliver bouncers/yorkers, but never ever get angry, call names or get personal.

Imtiaz, not every ball deserves a big hit. Some are better left to go. This is cricket for heavens sake, not Thai boxing.

The only problem, here on online forums, a well left delivery is not considered as take it slow and learn the art of war. Well left is considered as a weakness as is evident in some well left. I tried above but seems like that’s taken as weakness rather than an attempt to let things cool down …

ھماری سرکس کے اس جوکر کا اختتام اب نزدیک ہے۔ یہ جتنا مرضی پھڑپھڑا لے کُچھ نہیں ہونے والا۔ کٹھ پُتلی کے پاس کوئی اختیار نہیں ہوتا اُس کا کام تو اشارے پر ناچنا ہے۔

لیکن اس نے جو مُلک کی معاشی اور نوجوانوں کی ذہنی و اخلاقی تباہی پھیری ہے اس سے واپس نکلتے کئی دہایاں لگ جائیں گی۔ میڈیا کی برین واشنگ کے زیر اثر اسے ووٹ ڈالنے والے اب جھولیاں اُٹھا اُٹھا کر اسے بد دعائیں دے رہے ہیں۔ لیکن کٹھ پتلیوں کوگالیاں اور بد دعائیں دینے کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں، ان کو لانے والوں کا محاسبہ ضروری ہے۔ اگر پھر اُنہی کے پروپیگینڈا کمپین کے زیر اثر کسی نئے ٹرک کی بتّی کے پیچھے لگ جانا ہے، تو پھر ۔۔۔۔۔۔
