Your plot is 500sq yds. That's 4500sq ft. But sq ft of the covered area would be around 2500(Ground)+2700(First fl)+300-400(mumpty). That's a rough estimate depending upon your design, locality bylaws etc. The shades around the house, water tanks, side stairs etc are on top.
So like other people said, 5500 sqft would be a good figure to keep it mind.
