I need urgent housing advice. I'm living with my parents and my wife and one son in pindi close to raja bazaar. There are alot of fights going on between my parents and my wife and i think we have to urgently move out. My parents are also want me move out. One of my uncle's reference is selling a 8 or 7 marla double storey house in e-16/3 for 85 lacs, i'm not sure if it is reasonable price and how is the location good and is it a secure place?
I have very huge social anxiety and i can't go outside and do a good research and find good deals with dealers and places. Please let me know your thoughts on it. I have currents savings of 70 lac(it's in foreign australian dollar reserves, round about 60,000$) but can manage up to 80 lacs and have some debts up to 15 lacs. My salary is good but its very insecure job and can end in any other day.
Well i would suggest to do a good home work on internet to know the average prices in that area?
A few calls to dealers can clear you mind.
About old home its very very hard to judge its price unless you see it yourself.
I suggest to not loose your money on someone's suggestion, do it yourself.
You need to do some research as which size is suitable, single/double storey, personal inclination to some place, your workplace distance, children education.
Try looking for a house in Airport Housing Society. It's a good location opposite Gilbert (easier access to twin cities) and since you have a small family, you can easily find a 5 Marla in your range.
Otherwise another option is an apartment in F-10 or F-11 which will be secure as well.
To overcome social anxiety, take some friend or family along when visiting dealers and checking houses. This will keep you from taking impulsive decisions.
Don't go too far from your parents, just a personal advice.
