How To Get New Regisrty Of House If It Is Lost

Salam everyone,

I need some information how to get new registry of house situated in more Eminabad. Infact my father lost the registry of house and unable to found it, ownership is in the name of my father, but now he lost his eyesight & is too old to look after things. :(

So I have to take charge of it. But I don't know how to get new registry through patwari or else, and want to transfer it to my name. Now I just have the copy of fird of house which was rendered around 1977 & I think one page of registry's photocopy.

Please guide the procedure of getting new one in detail.

As per your issue is concerned, You have property fard with you. Go to the registrar office in the district court. Registrar Officer holds the property records. You can talk to the registrar about your matter. Present your fard before registrar and he will guide you to get the duplicate registry. I guess Patwari can also do something about it. But its better to approach registrar because Patwari Badshahs are on the lookout for bribe.

ps... for getting a duplicate registry, you need signature and thumb impressions of your father.

Go to your area's magistrate or registrar, your father also has to accompany you with his original CNIC, they will tell you the proper procedure, later you will be sent to patwari and he will do the rest. Regards,
