I am seeing many plot selling advertisements for G-13 Islamabad saying 25*40 plot or 1100 square feet (5 Marla) plot available for sale ,
My question is , 1) 2540 = 1000 not 1100 square feet. 2) 1 Marla = 272 square feet , so by this 2540 plot becomes 3.6 Marla plot.
Can any one explain to me , am I wrong or these advertisements have fake information.

According to my limited knowledge, 1 marla comprises of 225 square feet or 272 square feet (agri land). Nowadays, almost all societies in Pakistan are following 225 standard. Let's make a rough work..
25*40=1000
1000/225 = 4.44
whereas
1100/225 = 4.888
So 1100 sq fts are 4.88 marlas. You can also get help from this link: Marla Information on wikimedia
