Hi,
This is Dr. S Jabeen. I've a plot in Sunflower Valley. To be honest, I haven't seen it. It's 8 Marla, street 28 and #100. I've paid in pounds think much more than other paid. I do not know what to do cause I've been to Pak in 2012 and they told me its under construction.
God I would say I will never ever invest in Pak again, not in my life. How could they be so nasty to tell you something different to a investor(many like me) not even sending a letter that when it would potentially be handed over and what is procedure of handing over. I'm so disappointed. I've paid £12000 and that is money I earned putting efforts thinking why not invest in my country of origin. So please if anyone knows why they took so much from me just because I was living abroad.
Its a mess, so any idea what should I do now.
Thanks a lot.
Dear S Jabeen: I can understand your frustration. I never heard of "Sunflower Valley". Forum members please share if you know about it.
"You will never invest in PK again" as you said, fine but please remember that fraud of all kinds is common everywhere in the world. In PK, you have to investigate a bit more as compared to probably many other countries in the world, before you invest. I guess you did not do that. That's why you stuck in some bad soceity.
I sicerely hope that this SunFlower Valley will give you returns some day, soon. Good Luck
Dear Dr S Jabeen.. After hearing the name "Sunflower Valley", I would instinctively not be interested in the project. I'm sorry for your loss but this is how things are in the Land of the Pure. You should do careful research before investing in Pakistan especially if you are an overseas Pakistani. I would suggest that you should invest in the property sector in Pakistan as it will give you good returns (even better than you earn abroad) but do research before you invest and always invest through a trusted friend or family member. Always invest in good brands/societies which have a good reputation.
For now I suggest you call up the office of "Sunflower Valley" people or give the task to a reputed dealer in Pakistan who can find out for you for a small fee. If that doesn't help then you have to hire a lawyer and try to get something out of it.
There is a good chance that the project is not fake and the society is just plain lazy and incompetent, hence, not giving you timely possession of the plot. There will be others like you who have invested in the project. So don't worry, just do your investigation, IA things will be good or else Allah will give you a lot of money in the future.
That is very sad, can you pls explain where is it actually located ?
DHA Sunflower Valley
or
Commoner's Town Sunflower valley.
if your investment is in these 2 societies, it is late but safe.
If you can pls tell where is it actually, will be able to give you proper feedback.
Sunflower block, in the DHA Valley overseas block(sorry I was half sleep last night while writing text), thanks a lot for prompt reply all friends. I’m not selling so don’t worry as I myself have no idea whether it exists or not. Pak is not secure for any investment and even if still I think, “doesn’t matter” then I’m silly person which is almost proved by my experience of my investment.
By the way, its a good place to talk that I discovered last night as I was hovering over all the words “DHA valley” while on line via search engins and googling and trying to get an idea EVEN through Vickipedia.
DHA Valley is not bad investment, though it is long term.
Please dear S Jabeen Pakistan is very good place for investment IF DONE WISELY. And this is global rule, not only specific for Pakistan.
