Gulshan mehran and other scheme 33 societies was hot some years ago but only on file sale/purchase,no real development and population.After last few years political turmoil and ethnic clashes scheme 33 not an good choice and there is very big possibility of encroachment as happening to all adjacent areas and very large price drop.If your range allow try to go some stable area if you want to investment.

Karachi is Pakistan most expensive real estate market and that’s why scheme 33 attract lot of investors due to its offering for all price range.You can get 120 yards plot in 50-60 lakhs (Gulshan maymar) and in 3-4 lakhs too(green villey,quetta,azeem to name few ).If you have to invest in scheme 33 try to get in some reputable builders scheme like Saima,Ruknuddin,Chappel as to protect their name they make sure their scheme remain clear and trouble free of all kind but don’t expect on return of your investment for at least 2 years.Karachi estate market touching low from mid 2006 and after 2007 its get worse and still no sign of improvement.All estate market analysts agrees that no chance of improvement until mid of 2013 or may be more.You can purchase any flat within city on installment usually over 2 million but in 5 years time and can put on rent or switch to gold bullion.at time approx 60000Rs tola and dropped from 67000 so good chances.you can get 7-8 bullion easy to hide,easy to sell and more secure investment than small estate market investment but make sure reliable jeweler preferably family jeweler.Surgani town,Taiser town offers good prices of plot as well but i suggest stay away from it.today one offer in gulshan iqbal block 19 120 yards plot @25 lakh but possession on 30% but not big name dealer and also its neighborhood of shanti nagar very distrub area i don’t suggest either but if you interested i will direct you to its ad.Any help just message me.
