Can any one know about this scheme?What are disadvantages if some one is considering it for building his house over there?Any water issues or gas availability issues?also whither it is approved by RDA or not?

Gulshan Abad, once used to be a good society but now deteriorating as up keep is not good. Seems a congested place now but prices are not low just like other value added townships inside Rawalpindi are appreciating at a constant pace.
But there are other sister similar societies in RWP which could prove equally good if you are not particularly interested in Gulshan Abad.
Gulshan Abad will gain higher value if BT phase-8/Adiala road bridge Swan River gets materialized but very little hope as we stand. There could be another value addition to this place after DHA-4 extension reaches to that area (you should check with others as I am not sure whether this link is planned or not by DHA-4 but DHA-4 small plots could touch that area?)
But if you are not much particular about the exact location, then you can think about the similar cost holding places where you can build now, like Gulistan colony, Lalazar, BT phase-8 sectors Es &Fs, Jinnah Garden, River Garden, Police Foundation sector O-9 and so many others which are little better in upkeep wise. Adiala Road never attracts due to its traffic and congestion until it connects to DHA/BT but when???????
