Can anyone also please tell the current rates for 5 marla and 8 marla in different sectors?

I think Wali Khan is a good person.

Sector H 5 marla from 25 lacs to 32 lacs depending upon location.

Sector N 5 Marla around 22 lacs.

Sector N 8 marla around 30 lacs.

Sector G 8 marla around 39 lacs.

Sector J 8 marla around 27 lacs.

This is what I know.

@IB_Khan: Welcome. For five years investment, I would suggest to buy in Sector N. Avoid plots near nalla, right in front of commercial, school etc.

In sector N, is it better to go for old booking plots (all dues clear) or the new bookings where merging can be done?

As dealers are recommending new bookings plots and doing merging that will result in around 21.50-22 lakh total price. Any risks or issues with the locations or merging process?

IB_Khan, if the booking price is 30 lac, then you can merge 3 files (5 Marla worth 9.5 lac face value). You can buy files at 6.25 lac from market, saving you 3.25 lac on each file and 9.75 lac on total. Get a good dealer and he’ll do all the work. But you’ll have to pay in cash.

Thanks @Isloo, a dealer told me only 2 files can be merged as 25 lakh is the original price of the plot and then owners asking for some profits 2.5 to 4 lakhs.
