Illegal society declared by CDA so no NOC and eminent khokhar factor. However prices are increasing substantially if you still like buy small plots there hold it for some time get some profit and exit.
No Future as u see the earlier phase of ghauri town…

Khokhar factor, normally a normal person will try to avoid an area full of body guards.

Well, its good to hear different type of comments from all of you. Let me tell you a bit about Ghauri Town.
Yes its true it do not have NOC from CDA, but Ghauri town is working from 1998. So what the hell CDA is doing since 16 years. They should stopped them but they did'nt. Why?
I am working in Ghauri Town since Nov, 2011 and I have met no body, i mean no body who have said i have lost money or i have lost plot in gahuri town.
After Bharia town , Ghauri town has most number of dealers (offices) in Rwp/ISB. There no society having that kind of dealers offices. Have a visit by you self.
The money i invested in Ghauri Town in nov, 2011 is now three times more after 2.7 years. So as far as i am concerned Ghauri Town is the best location for investment.
Last Khokar brothers. Its true they have influence in Ghauri Town but only till buying the land, after that Ghauri town has no connection with khokar brothers as far as development and other matters.
By the Way for information, Khokar's sell land to Ghauri Town, Gulberg, Swan garden, Pakistan town, Judaical town, Bharia Town, DHA, PWD, o-9,... They are the ones who buy and clear the land for all these societies.

What is your personal assessment on price rise in future after the current slowdown ends? Will the rise be on similar pattern as you mentioned, or the prices of ghauri town have already touched the peak and will remain stable in future?
Other than investment, is it a suitable place to live? I mean, how is the environment, what type of community lives there? I am asking this keeping in view the Kokhar factor.

The prices have increased a lot in the last few months which were even beyond expectations of many....
Prices have declined again... And going down...
I don't see any further room for growth based on ground realities but no one can predict... As it happened in the recent past....
Not recommended for personal living...
The streets are narrow...
No maintenance...
Very congested....
No open places...parks, grounds etc... Very few in number...
But still people are investing in this... The rate at which it is getting populated, is simply unbelievable... Both residential and commercial development is unprecedented in any scheme....
Main reason is affordability and closeness to Islamabad...

I am living in ghouri phase 4-A since last 5 years in a rental house. I didn’t found any issue else water supply. Good families are living here.
