General Advice

Assalam-o-Alaikum!

I know it's kinda ridiculous question to ask on a platform like this but I had to do this because I desperately need to hear some suggestions from some really experienced minds here.

So basically, I'm a student right now. & I'm going to appear for exams after 6 months from now, for which I will be needing PKR 80,000 to get registered. I have got PKR 60,000 in my pockets right now & I am not doing any job or business. My question is that, is there any way I could roll up this money within these days? If yes, then how? Moreover, I also want to earn money. So guide me as to how a student, who is studying a'levels right now, can earn money in the best possible way?

Start free lancing bro…

Tell me more about free lancing? I mean what is this? How & where I can find this?

Yaar different websites per kaam karna hota for people and they will pay you…e.g kisi kay liye articles writing etc…

Agreed with Saadi bhai,

1 more thing to add is try to develop and go for some skill oriented studies as the market in future will only adjust skilled persons.

Regards,

Free Lancing is a good idea, plus search on internet, you will find many typing orders, you just have to type and they will pay you handsome money.

Dear Nasir Sb,

It is not easy to get typing jobs online.

Thanks

Plus the factor of finding some reasonable website / forum where ur paid decent is a difficult task for a new entry as there are too much frauds as well and we pakistanis are master of it.

Dear Is-Base:

We are good for nothing as a whole with some exceptions. We are good in pointing fingers at others. Thanks

Khan saab,

as usual your statements contradict your self. On one hand you say we are good at pointing fingers at others and then you point all of your fingers to the whole nation! such claims are made by uneducated frustrated people of every nation in the world who are pessimist.

I think it is easy to get typing jobs online, pls send me a message i will give you some contacts to do that.

Dear talha

if ur money is for ur tuition fee then don't roll it just keep it as u need it after few months and ur amount can be stuck. Plus concentrate on ur studies , after education u can come in business right now business will definitely affect ur studies, this is a brotherly advise.

However if u still want to do property business then select one brand in start like bahria dha jkchs or mpchs , then join some good office there, part time or full time.

Aggree with Ibrahim bhai.

First off, It's a good topic and Talha please change the title of the thread to something more relevant so others can get an idea...

Secondly I'll tell you about myself. It might help you.

I'm into real estate now but I started working as a freelancer on the internet and started making a handsome amount by month 12. Casual as I am, I could have made more

Why did I leave it? I got Married! makes you leave alot actually!!

So I would definitely recomend you taking it upon yourself. But you'll have to stick to it. There won't be looking back, or you'll just waste your time.

What to do?

I would have to disagree with guys suggesting typing jobs. Article writing is also not that good/rewarding/satisfying. But it's definitely easy to get and hardly any fraud.

Do something satisfying and qualified like Graphic Design (easy, lots of tutorials on the internet), IT, Marketing etc. Or whatever your subjects were in A level like accounting and stuff

Where to start?

I worked on oDesk.com (can share link to my portfolio, for your objectivity and satisfaction). There's tonnes of stuff you can find yourself qualified for.

How to do it?

Make a full/real profile. Don't leave anything out. Dont exaggerate.

Apply for jobs individually, don't copy paste text. The employer show sense that you've read the job desc.

Be very professional, you're competing with the world, and you're a Pakistani - you owe it.

Go get us some FOREX - earned, not begged lol!!

Harris, thanks for sharing.
