Is there any farm house on very low cost in Islamabad?
Yes there is but it is near Islamabad not inside the city limits. What you would call the 'suburbs' of Islamabad.
And it is Multi Professional Coop Housing Society (MPCHS) Islamabad Orchard scheme just off Brahma Bahatar interchange on the M-1 Motorway towards Pershawar.
It is low cost and available on installments.
Pk1 is right... Multi Orhcards is a very decent scheme and we all know about MPCHS' standard of development. Only drawback is the distance from main Islamabad so it may not be feasible for people who need to commute to Islamabad daily. However, for other needs like schooling, shopping and health care; one could go to Wah cantt which is hardly -7 Kms away.
Prices are reasonable. They're giving a 5 Kanal farm for 65 lac (on installments) or 52 lacs on cash basis
If good schools and good hospitals are out of reach then I wonder why would someone live in those farm houses. Any advantages? May be it’s for retired people only?
I would always vote for a farm house which is away from the city. It should only be used for get togethers and relaxation and time outs.
