I recently booked a 2 bedroom apartment in sector e -11/4 in apollo tower for 7.5 million pkr. I visited the area and the project is progressing well and almost 90% complete. However, subsequently i came across a cda notification about illegal construction in sector e-11 islamabad.

Upon my inquiry from the developer, he mentioned that the project does not need noc from cda as claimed in the cda notification since it is part of golra village not under cda jurisdiction. The two views seems contrasting and i am concerned that if proceed with the investment, i may not be able to sell the apartment subsequently.
I'll appreciate if members could share their opinions about the status of these projects?

“does not need noc from cda” so golra is responsible for gas, water, electricity, roads etc? Very strange statement from the developer. All of these new tower blocks in E11 are illegal according to CDA. CDA does not help either with their bureacracy and mismanagement.

It's mind boggling that despite its illegal status, the project has access to all the amenities i.e. Electricity, gas etc.I am sure there are lots of investors who are unaware of their legal status and have invested their hard earned money in these projects.
CDA should take active steps to restrict any sale/purchase activity in these projects.
