Hi guys
I have an apartment booked in goldline residency and the project is minimum 1 year from completion and possession. Last week i received a notice to pay 9 lac within 15 days on account of documentation charges. I think there is something fishy so need expert advice on the following:
- how much are the documentation charges including sub lease, water, electricity, ssgc connection on an apartment worth 75lac (1600 sq. Ft) in karachi (cantt board)
- does the prices vary w.R.T cost or covered area of apartment?
- how far from the expected date of possession should the builders ask the allottees for documentation charges?
- are the charges in black and white or is there any bribe or under the table money involved by the govt/registering authority?
