Please tell me what is the difference in between inteqaal and registry.
Registry is optional but inteqaal is a must. These days majority go for registry first and then take care of teh inteqaal with local Patwari.
That makes sense but what is the actual difference between the two. Why is inteqaal mandatory and registry optional. What are drawbacks of just having an Inteqaal done or drawbacks of not getting registry done.
Registry happens in kacheri through tehseeldar office as per the procedure provided by the government. Inteqaal happens in relative patwari office after purchase is complete. Basically you are covering both end of the transaction for any future issue that might arise.

I did one deal and only did Inteqaal. Is it Risky situation as somebody asked me to get registry also. What are the implication of reselling property if I do not have registry.
