Sultan sb, You have a choice to exit by selling or follow the advice of Brig. Raja. I would suggest wait another 6 month or better 1 year and then decide.

Yes, this mess is created by DHA and they are responsible for fixing it. Earlier they were sleeping during Kiyani command but now the lion has waken up. Even if Raheel retires , i’m sure he would sort out all the legal issues with Bahria town before leaving office. I have heard from dealers that Malik Riaz is personally visiting valley to see the progress as he is under immense pressure.
Unluckily, fate of common people goes in hands of people like MR or ex-chief and we wait for people like present chief and start praying for good people to come to resolve the issue. Actually this all should have been done thoroughly irrespective of who comes or goes. Really Pity.
For me, since lots of time has passed without anything happening, there’s no harm to wait little more when we can hear positive vibes around.

After all these messes by MR, DHA is still dealing with Bahria Town as somebody mentioned about the news of merger between DHA phase 3 and Bahria garden city.
DHA is as commercial as any other organization in Pakistan and the sole purpose of existence is to make money. The interest of common people is nothing but a joke in our country
Why DHA is still dealing with Bahria is for the following reasons.
1- Since Bahria was paid all of our money and from contractors perspective it will be bahria responsibility to complete the project. DHA asked Bahria to pay back billions of rupees as security deposit and then complete the project. Incase if Bahria is unable to provide satisfactory work then DHA can use that deposit to complete the work from another contractor.
2- Bahria garden city was given by MR as compensation for phase 2-extension mess up. Most members are shifted to phase 3 now. DHA is happy to receive a developed sectors with out any cost.
3- Valley members were offered to move into phase 8 or BTK. Still have yet to see the balloting results.
Sultan, you are correct in saying that DHA (Dakhu housing society) has become commercial to make money. I just shared above information so everyone knows what is happening at the back-end to resolve all the mess.

Is there any update on balloting for movement of plots from Valley to Bahria?? When should we expect some result?
A few days back I visited DHA Valley and fortunately the DHA/BT personnel had arranged a site visit. The development work seemed stopped but the guide told us that it was because of rains. Anyways, the under construction bridge that links Oleander Block with Islamabad Expressway entrance of DHA Valley - it appeared that the work had been abandoned but the guide said the construction will begin "in a few months".
A couple of hundred DHA Valley homes seemed ready at the far end of DHA Valley and I felt sorry for the buyers. I liked the 8 Marla attached unit, and its current price (Rs.6.5m) but then it is going to take at least 8 years before it becomes habitable.
For obvious reasons, there are hardly any sellers in Sunflower sector which I thought should be okay for a 5 year holding period.
The price escalation seems to have stopped in non dam affected sectors and I believe the possession is at least 6 months away.

Visited Valley via Kaller Syedian road yesterday . . . . 30-40% of the road has been carpeted in patches as there are alot of water passage between these passage to be addressed . . . . Anyways progress is going on as compared to last 6 months . . . .
This Kaller Sayyedan road approach to the Oleander Block is likely to add value to this block, as well as DHA Valley Homes, but to me the main attraction is going to be the bridge and the underpass that connect the Oleander and Homes with Islamabad Expressway, the main gate of DHA Valley.
Kallar Sayyedan Road approach is currently stopped due to rains.
When should we expect to have the results announced for transfers to Bahria Town? Any information pls!
I am interested to find out the base price of files and certificates of DHA phase 2 Extension, ISLAMABAD sectors A to K when offered by DHA in 2005 and of sectors L to T later since the first ones have 6 lac balance and the later ones have a balance of 14.60 lacs.
I am confused since certificates are being sold in the market from 27 to 35 Lacs. What was there original price when sold by DHA?
