DHA Valley and Bahria Town Karachi?

Aoa everyone,

I am thinking of buying in both the subject mentioned societies i.e. A 7 marla file in DHA valley Islamabad and a 125 sq yds file in BT karachi.

I have a hard earned cash of around 1.5 million (salaried person savings)and want to invest. With my limited knowledge i think i will get something around 1.3 million in dha valley and around 3 lac i will get 125 sq yds file(i will borrow some money from friends) in bt khi.

I am in no hurry and can wait for more than 5 years on a coffee table after these investments. I seek advice of you all people, if my idea and calculations seem to be in the right direction. If no please advise me.

Invest in something credible both these files have nave no near future,you might loose your hard earned money in days

Both are good long term investments.

Ur grand kid might be able to get plot at DHA Valley :=).According to some news all senior army officers transferred their plots from DHA Valley to DHA Lahore.

Seems Bahria investing all energies in Karachi now a days.

will u mind if i disagree wid u...nt a single officer f pak army has been givn plot n dha valley, wat 2 talk f senior officers. 2ndly, as per my knowledge, only subedars n jawaans hav been givn thse plots plus shuhada. 3rdly, dha homes r complete n all aspects. Their possession s expected n next 6 months or so wich will hav positive impact on prices. 4thly, development f few blocks s also n full swing n it s being said dat possession f few blocks s expectd n a yr or so.

but i agree wid u wat u said abt bahria.

Might be you are right , actually i heard it from another discussion when article published on newspaper. If they are developing then it is good sign.

I have a plot in DHA Valley, but I agree with someone it is long term investment which will be fine for another 5 years and so. It depend upon the location of your plot but I would never suggest Bahria. This might be good project but running by one man where DHA Valley is run by a team.

Despite being a one man show bahria has the best infastructure in the country,one man will leave one day,but development already done wont,karachi is no no at this moment though,dha valley if run by a team it must be close to pakis current t20 team

Correct me if i am wrong , its DHA who transferred money to BT for development of DHA Valley? Punjab Govt is planning to make “Dam” in those areas?

Long term might b not a big issue for many.people can wait 5_6 years for gud return.

Actual problem is of Dam which has made valley a very risky investment
