What is the file rate now?

Do experts agree with Aamer that file price will go down to 30-33 lacs?

I think very difficult that it even come to 38. It ll stay at 40 until things r clear. Search on google and zameen shows same old rate.

Allocation files may drop to 36 min.

Below that and I will buy some files :)

DHA Multan files are hardly affected by the new tax as they are priced at/under 4 million.

The current drop could be due to overall uncertainty and after-shock of tax. Real estate is on a stand still everywhere. And its not that there are panic sellers, its just that transactions aren't happening and a distressed seller's deal signals a dropping price while actually not many investors will be willing to sell at that price.

In my opinion, its very unlikely that it goes below 37 mark.

And if...awww one more hope... It gets launched this month, it will bounce back. If not, it will keep hovering +/- 2 lac.

Files falling because too may affidavits were held to support expected launch of installment plots. Now affidavits are issued 200 to 300% above past 3 months average and buyers are only 25% of past 3 months average due to weak property market with Govt shaken confidence with higher fees and new taxes (In other properties than DHA Multan).

BTW this is THE LAST chance to grab DHA Multan near 37 to 38 lacs. After just few weeks time back to mid to high 40s insha Allah. A superb long term investment for easy 100% plus gains if held 2 to 3 years max. Current dip is not going to last too long . Only weeks and not months. Insha Allah

The best scenario would be to announce direct balloting of allocation holders with a map, that would give boost to the price and allow DHA to sell files at higher rates.

There were rumors of such steps few months back

Sources confirmed that DHA Multan is not going to launch plots in 2016 and I can see some (well informed) People & Dealers are still propagating & misguiding to trap our hard earned money into such long term project

I visited DHA Multan office right before eid holidays and asked transfer manager Mr. Irslan. He told me they are going to launch in two months. Let’s see how it goes.

DHA Multan has always been a long term project. Delay of 2-3 months doesn't matter.

People holding will gain considerably in 2-3 years so no need to panic.
