DHA MULTAN Updates

Somehow, ppl are not interested in Multan. Dont know why??

Right now the live-able place in Multan with good standard is Wapda Town. So people are buying there for now. As for investors, they will now come to DHA with its price on rebound.

This news cutting says that the plot against purchased land will be given in the same Mauza to which the file belongs. Seems a bit unjust. But anyone here to comment please.

This is very old news and it is not correct.I confirmed with Dha office also.Balloting ll b not done on mousa basis.

Any one has an idea about how many plots are going to be there in 9000 acres (72,000 kanals)? Say for instance according to the international standard of 40%/25%/35% space usage in master planned communities; 40% is residential area. This renders a huge number 72,000 kanals X 40% = 28,800 kanals, meaning there will be approximately 29,000 plots and houses. Can a relatively smaller city like Multan digest this big a number?

This question poses a serious commercial threat to the investors--especially when not many outside (from other cities or overseas) investors are willing to look into Multan's market.

Can anyone guide me on a query mentioned below:

I live in middle east. I am planning to invest in DHA Multan. I need to transfer money from here to bank in Pakistan and make transaction to DHA Multan via Pay Order of required amount.

What about WHT (With Holding Tax). I have red it at many places that the bank will deduct 0.3 Percent WHT from "Non Filers" on bank transaction. I have not filed anything since I am outside Pakistan. So when I will make the transaction, the bank will deduct 0.3 % from my account and it will be reasonably big amount since payment to DHA Multan is quite big.

Any suggestions / guidance on this issue.

@RA Khan many ppl made this assumption that u'll get the land in the same mauza of the purchased land but it's not true. If DHA had to accommodate files in this manner, the master planning will go down the drain to protect individual preferences.

This has been verified by reliable sources that the allocation of plot will be based on balloting and not on the mauza of the submitted land.

Anyone having idea that whether dha multan will publically be launched like that of bahawalpur or not. If not, then what about allocation of 10 Marla? And any news of launching on installments

Its very likely that they will launch it publicly like DHA Bahawalpur. But considering the offered prices of DHA Bahwalpur, its imminent that kanal in dha multan will be more than 4 million.

Thanks @MBS. Yes thats logical. Do u have any rough idea that when DHA multan will start getting development charges. If its launched like dha bahawalpur on installment then ideally they should start getting development charges after completion of regular installment plan of plots

First post of a long time reader.

Purchased DHA Multan File at high price one year before.

Should I sell it at loss of 5 lacs or still keep it, hope to prices will go up but some people say it may go further down to 23-25 lacs per file.

I can afford to keep the current file for further 2 years, so whats your opinion?? Should I sell it at 28 lacs or keep it?????

Why the rate is increasing now.

Today rate is 29.
