I am seriously considering buying a one kanal plot at a good location in dha lahore phase 9, prism. I need advice.
I have heard that J, K and R blocks are better, but I am not sure about the reasons.

J,K, R are 5 marla plots.........
For Kanal best Blocks are
A,C,D,Q,P then H,F G,M ,N.........Visit Lahore real estate to get the idea of prices....

I would recommend A ,C and D block for kanal where you can get a good plot @ 80 lac(Land price) + 20 lac( development charges to be paid in three years i.e 1.65 lacs every 3 months for a period of 3 years)......
Please note that it is at least 7-8 years investment.As Ballot has been done in may 2015 and their is no construction yet.
Mr Salman. Prices are steady or down after the announcement of DC?
Thanks a lot Mr. Salman Ahmed for your advice. I am considering to get my home constructed here. But 7 to 8 years seem a lot of time. If development starts early 2016, wouldn’t it finish in max 4 years? Possession might happen in 2020, right?

It depends if you are buying plots then DC has no impact on prices , if you are selling than phase 9 plot holders are throwing their plots.

Dha has a history of slow development.I believe phase 9 to be a 7-8 years investment keeping past projects in view. It can be completed in 4-5 years or 9-10 years.So its good to assume the middle time period.
At present no one can say for sure it will be completed in 4 years or in 8 years its all speculation.
We can make a educated guess when construction starts.
Seems to ME that prices are reduced by 2/3 lacs on kanal plot. 5 marla plots holders will have to pay more DC against the prediction.
Dealers are dealers after all. Everyone knew that
around 20 lac will be DC in 3 years time.
I agree 5 marla DC are high.
