D-12 Condition

Please advise about the living conditions in D-12.

1. Is basic amenities (Bijli, Gas, Pani) available there?

2. Markets and grocery stores opened there?

3. How much of population start living there?

4. How you forecast living conditions after an year or two?

Sir living conditions are not very much favourable..

1-Gas is not there.

2-Paani ka issue to puray islamabad main hai plus boring is must..After boring its your luck kay paani nikalta hai yaa nahi..I saw a plot in which water cannot be extracted even after 250 feet..That person sold his plot afterwards..

3-Roads and streets are broken.

4-No grocery stores.

5-Houses are rarely built.Majority of them are 25x40 houses constructed and that too by builders.

6-Street crimes type incidents are very very common especially at evening and at night.

Only plus point is its beautiful location..

But the future is very bright!

Margalla Avenue will pass through here. On one side it will intersect GT Road and end at Motorway. On the other side it will reach bypass Islamabad and reach Murree Road near Quaid-e-Azam University.

@ Pk1 …Sir d-12 ka jo future bright hona thaa ho gya…Now not big jumps are expcted…It has already attained its peak…

If want all these facilities you can get them in G-13, G-14/4 …including markets and grocery stores…plus nearly 60% of the area in G-13, G-14/4 is populated…

a very expensive sector but currently development standards are very low, need heavy work to justify its price , only positive point is location

Yes, Hayat is rite, G-13 is much better when we compare it with D-12.

D-12 lack basic amenities.

But in 2-3 years, we can expect very much better environment.

D-12 till date is zero

Slam all , it my first post in the forum. I am so disappointed with teh development work in D-12 sector. Since i am living there and seeing daily things deteriorating and going in shambles. CDA must pay attention to this sector as people have invested a lot in buying plots and building their dream house.

Beautiful location good for property future.If CDA look after the sector because CDA have gain hand some amount though transfer fee.Inshallah new management will do in next six months. Because people have invested in D-12 a lot.Don’t worry future of D-12 much better than G-13 or G-14

I have seen lot of construction activity in the last 1 year. New commercials are constructed in the Markaz and people have started building their houses and living there. It is not a remote and non-livable sector anymore. CDA is bit slow in providing basic amneties, but in CDA sectors it is usual that things gradually get better as sectors get populated.

The sector is very promising, and one of the best sectors of Islamabad. If you own a plot there and want to build a house, then it is about time you should start planning to get it constructed. By the time it is ready, living conditions will improve considerably.

Not too long ago G-13 used to be a total disaster with sewer openly flowing on streets, no water supply, no gas and in some parts there was no electricity. But within an year, it has become a thriving sector with much better living conditions.

Today I talked to the director in CDA and asked about the future of d-12. It is

heartening to mention that he was very understanding and assured me that

development in d-12 is soon to commence as they are aware of the problems.

I expect that things will improve.
