It is as good as offering free real estate consultation. Ali I wanna know which one of the mentioned societies offer best prospects for long term investment. An estimate in numbers would be good. And Oh, i am talking about 1 Kanal plots.
Well it would be a long story to brief you about potentials individually about each of the above mentioned societies. Every one has its own distinct features. But just here to cut the long story short, in my opinion next coming half decade belongs to the societies which are connected to the expected development of the ring road. Socities like Sui Gas Phase 2 where price now is around 2.5 to 3.0 Million is expected to double its worth in coming two years for two reasons. One it ll be connected to ring road Loop and secondly it ll be connected to Beharya Lahore extending like an octopus all around. Others like Fazaya, especially has a great prospectus being an army regulated society. These are the socities directly connected to Sharif Complex on Raiwand Road and Bilawal House in Beharya ( hope you got the clue) so next 5 years or so belong to this area and not Typical DHA Phase 6,7,8 etc which are already burning in boom of very high escalation.
If you ask me the best investment in Lahore at the moment is to buy one kanal plot,on main double road in LDA avenue. The road that is going Shaukat Khanum cutting across Raiwind road and opening on canal from Jubilee town near Bahria. This is a goldmine. You will get commercial plot at the price of residential.
@ Ali chughtai, what is the price of 5 marla boulevard plot in bahria education and medical city. Pls also comment on the future of the society
Dear PK1, I heard LDA is not secure as DHA / Bahria, espiecally for overseas Pakistani’s like us. Can you confirm?

@irf.... When buying from govt for example CDA and LDA you have to do proper verification of file to make sure that it is not sold twice or thrice to different owners. But that should not scare us away,from good opportunities. Most overseas Pakistanis like to go with the trend and believe that Bahria and Dha are the only safe options. That is why Bahria and Dha prices are higher than actual worth.
@PK1… Actually LDA has done such a bad practices in past decades that’s why lots of people are afraid of them. Sabzazar scheme, Johar Town etc are developed LDA projects and but even after many years still they have litigation problems. One plot / file is being sold to many people and cases are not resolved in the courts. Powerful people get the possession “Qabza” of such plots forcefully & nobody come up to help them. LDA clerks are involved in all these bad practices. I heard Punjab Govt is trying to improve LDA services but I am sure it will take years to restore the people’s confidence.
