Could Not Invest in BTK - Praying For BTK Success

I could not invest in btk but i am praying for its success insha-allah. Why?

  1. Good for karachi and its people (a.It reflects investor-confidence in a troubled city; b. The greater the investment-stake in karachi, the more reason to push for peace in the city; c. The entry of bigger players with big money will marginalize the joker and his gang).

  2. Good for pakistan (success of malik riaz projects all over sindh will help to integrate sindh with punjab and improve provincial harmony... Otherwise the negative trend in 2013-election showed victory in each province on provincial and ethnic lines).

  3. It will free up some money and bring back investment to the real estate market in rest of the country.

Bigger players are already there and that too with the support of Joker gang !

Let the joker know about the bag full of Smackers coming into Casino , then watch their efficiency and skills how they approach !!

It will get better in 2015, Bahria is now in tussle in with DHA in Karachi, Bahria will never let the investors down even if it means loss to Bahria.

Yes it seems like there is a tussle between bahria and dha in karachi. Bahria town is financing the development of flyovers and an underpass in the in Karachi and DHA has filed a case against it.

but i think bahria is really doing a very good job, especially i like the philanthropic steps taken by Bahria from time to time.

Guys ur not getting the Joker !

The other competitor is not an issue here.

Well the Casino owner can safeguard his interest by shaking hands with Joker , im worried for those newbies or even the old players who dont know JOKER yet.

Government initiatives / Public spending and location can transform any property and in bahria's case, they've got both. Consider factoring for these and you might wana change your opinion:

  • KARACHI itself: population and economic potential of Karachi is the highest in Pakistan

  • Dire Need for secure business and living environment in Karachi

  • Location: In the middle of two big cities on motorway which is soon expected to be expanded and become part of Economic Corridor with China

  • Neighborhood: Dha City Karachi 11600 + 8000 acres of upcoming development

  • Political Support

  • Land: on the operational side, the land is fairly plain like Lahore, so development cost is cheaper and naturally progresses faster than it did in isb/pindi's terrain.

  • Litigation free: Plenty of land acquired with due approvals from government

As of now I have not come across one good reason for it not becoming successful other than the current selling pressure coz of over subscription in 5 marla by naïve investors.

This is how I interpret it, please enlighten me where am getting overly optimistic :)

And I completely agree with Isloo's comment. MR always gets his first project right to show it as a demo for launching further projects.

Bilal I truly hope and pray that you are right insha-Allah. Just one thing that makes me nervous is that Karachi gives me that eerie feeling of Gotham City, the hold of Carmine Falcone and the return of the Joker(you know who)!

Whats worse, there is no Wayne or Commissioner Gordon in sight.

Hahaa not a batman fan so no idea about the characters but yeah u never know what could happen in Pakistan. We can only do our maths but kabhi bhi kuch bhi ho sakta hai :) but overall bahria town is not handling it well, they are turning greedy now and this is not good. They MUST deliver now in bahria enclave, sector E,F in Lahore to maintain investors confidence.
