I have a piece of farm house land measuring 2 acre ( approx. 96,000 sq ft) and need to have a 7 feet high boundary wall built. Please advise what is a reasonable estimate for this construction? And time that it should take to built this wall?
Boundary wall costs around 2000 to 3000 pkr running feet it is just a rough estimate. Will take around two weeks.
The area of the wall is approximately 8400/sft and in running foot it will be 1200/rft.
The estimated rate for 8400/sft will be 300/sft and in running foot for 1200/rft. It will be 2100/rft.
Take 1 month to built the wall.
Kindly tell where the location of the project.
Thanks & Regards
Engr.Muhammad Shafqat
The cost can be on design and thickness you want.
All above quotes are wrong and they did not mentioned even which
thickness of wall they are offering? What will be foundation of wall? how deep it can be? (it depends on actual site conditions).
More important its design what will be the wall design and cost will be according to that.
General 4 1/2" thick wall cost Rs.80-90/sft
General 9" Thick wall cost Rs.160-190/cft
Plaster works Rs.35-55/sq ft.
Your wall cost can be only determined once its actual design
and site visit done.
We can give you our services both design and execution at one place.

Thank you to all of you three for a response.
@ Mr. Shafqat: How do you calculate running feet? Dimension of the land is 224 ft x 430 ft.
Dear,Mr.Mujtaba,
Length of wall was calculated from plot area you mentioned in your post. Now from plot dimensions you provided exact wall length is 1308/rft.
Our Estimated rate includes wall thickness 4 1/2" , wall foundation 3 ft. , Plaster on both sides and RCC pillars at 10'c/c . Generally these are requirements of boundary walls.
Regards,
When it comes to the cost of boundary wall, you should not only consider the lowest monetary value. In fact, you should also take into account the cost of boundary wall – in terms of future maintenance. If you want a boundary wall that is both cost-effective and durable, go for precast boundary wall systems. In terms of initial cost of boundary wall, the precast systems does not only save you money on the traditional concrete pouring method but on labour as well. Since these are precast, there is no need for additional labour to make any adjustments during the installation.
Specifically, the customer saves more on the cost of building materials required for the boundary wall. Similarly, there will be no expenditure of scaffolding and shuttering.
Next, there is the cost of boundary wall maintenance. While traditional concrete-poured boundary walls are also durable, they are not as good as precast ones. Due to the longevity and higher durability of the precast boundary walls, they require less maintenance over the years after installation.
You might also prefer incurring the cost of boundary wall – within the precast range of products – because you will also have the advantage of customised solutions. A traditional boundary wall can be built in bespoke designs as well, but a precast offers more uniform aesthetics and consistency in design.
So the total cost of boundary wall depends on way more factors than just the wall’s dimensions and materials used.
