I would appreciate some advice.
I inherited a house in nov 2018 and would like to sell it. How will the cgt be calculated. Ie
1. The duration of holding period is from the original date of the purchase by my father or the date i inherited it.
2. How will i calculate the valuation, as i did not pay any price for it.

Hi Ahmed. If you have made new registry in your name then you have to pay CGT. Otherwise you can sell your house on court order document and CGT will not apply. Dont know where ur house is, but atleast this happens in Rawalpindi.
